IHSS HOME: 888-960-4477 (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, M-F)

Provider Enrollment

Whether applying to become an In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Individual Provider or joining the Public Authority’s Caregiver Registry, prospective providers can contact IHSS HOME at (888) 960-4477 to begin the application process. Phones are answered Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific time, excluding county holidays.

When calling the HOME line, please be prepared to identify your provider type:

You are an Individual Provider if you have an eligible IHSS client (recipient) to work for who has received a Notice of Action of Approval.
You are a Registry Provider if you do not have an eligible client (recipient) to work for or would like to be referred to new recipients.

The following activities are required to complete the enrollment process:

Complete a provider enrollment packet
Submit identification documents (unexpired government issued photo ID and social security card)
Complete a Live Scan and pass a criminal background check through the California Department of Justice “DOJ” using the Riverside County Live Scan form.
Complete state mandated orientation
Registry applicants only have an additional requirement to complete and pass a Drug & Alcohol test
Register for Electronic Timesheets and Direct Deposit

Electronic Services Portal

To access up to the last three (3) months of timesheet history, sign-up for the Electronic Services Portal by going to https://etimesheets.ihss.ca.gov.

For other Verification of Employment inquiries, contact Riverside’s HOME Call Center at (888) 960-4477.

Electronic Services Portal

The Electronic Services Portal (ESP) is a website that allows providers to take care of payroll needs online using a tablet, smartphone, laptop or computer (the ESP does not support Microsoft Internet Explorer and must be accessed by an alternative browser such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge).

Recipients can approve/reject timesheets online and providers have the ability to complete and submit their electronic timesheets, download and print copies of pay stubs, sign-up for and make changes to Direct Deposit and submit Sick Leave Claims.

Starting July 1, 2023, all IHSS providers who do not live with their recipient (Non-Live-In Providers) are required to check-in and out at the beginning and end of each workday and indicate if services are starting or ending in the home or community.

There are no changes for providers that live with their recipient (Live-in Providers).

If you live with your recipient but have not self-certified as a Live-In Provider, you can complete and submit the Live-in Provider Certification form (SOC 2298) or, log-in to your Electronic Services Portal (ESP) account and select Financial >>Live-In Provider>>Live-in Provider Certification.

For general assistance with EVV check-in/check-out and the ESP website, please contact the IHSS Service Desk at (866) 376-7066, Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM, excluding holidays.

A partir del 1 de Julio de 2023, los proveedores de IHSS que no viven con su beneficiario deben verificar entrada y salida al comienzo y al final de cada día laboral e identificar si los servicios están comenzando o terminado en el hogar o la comunidad.

No hay cambios para los proveedores que viven con su beneficiario (Proveedor Residente).

Si usted vive con su beneficiario, pero no se ha identificado como Proveedor Residente, puede completar y entregar el formulario de Auto Certificación de Proveedor Residente (SOC 2298) o iniciar sesión en su cuenta del Portal de Servicios Electrónicos (ESP) y seleccione Financiero >>Proveedor residente>>Certificación de proveedor residente.
